The NKJV of the Bible takes some knocks but I think it is a good solid strong translation of God's Word! I like this edition (I wish they had used better paper, India or French-Milled) but...overall it is a nice size and I like it, in general, the NKJV of the Bible is the one my wife and I use. This is my favorite Bible that I've owned. It is very beautiful, is a perfect size for convenience yet I can still read without my reading glasses, and has everything that I want in a Bible.

This is exactly what I was looking for in my primary preaching Bible. I like one large enough that you can hold it up before a crowd and they can tell what it is, and yet small enough that you can hold it while speaking and it not incumber your gestures. Now that you have the right size you need a Bible with a binding and pages that will hold up and last. The paper is thin, but does not bleed the print from the back side. The cover is soft as velvet, but the binding is rock solid. I really don't expect to have to buy another Bible for this use again (unless someone breaks the 8th commandment!). A bit pricey, but for long term investment worth it.

I sent these Bibles back. They were perfect in every way, except for one point: The text inside had more publishers headings than I've ever seen. Not just one at the beginning of the chapter, than maybe another interspersed throughout, but rather every few verses was a comment to tell you what was next. Way too subjective. I was looki9ng for a Bible I could read, and then think about for myself. I almost keep them anyway as everything else was wonderful, the covers, paper etc, were beautiful. Looks like a Bible that would last a lifetime.

I bought this Slimline KJV Bible today and Im very impressed with it. It is a great size, the Calfskin leather is very soft, its just a quality product with a lifetime guarantee backing it.

I bought the slimline so that I could have a portable King James Bible that I could take places, but I also wanted the font a comfortable size so that I wouldnt have to strain to see the words. This is the Bible I have been looking for. The paper and printing job on this Bible screams quality. It also has a concordance and maps in the back. The words of Christ are in red, my only complaint, as all scripture is God breathed.
